I had my first official Weight Watchers weight-in today at my meeting (by meeting, I mean me and myself in my bathroom. And by official, I mean my old, slightly non-working scale).
I lost 5 pounds.
Not so happy. Why?
1. I tend to fluctuate five pounds anyway through out the month. Today may have been a "low" point, and last week may have been a "high".
2. My scale is non very accurate (see above).
3. If I did lose anything, it's probably just water weight.
Ergo, I consider myself still needing to lose 15 pounds, because the first five really didn't count. A shallow victory.
However, my new healthy way of eating makes me feel better, and I am certainly getting in a lot more fruits and veggies. All in all, good news. We shall see next week.
